On-Site Diesel Repair is a South Florida based marine engine survey company. Specializing in Caterpillar® powered vessels of all sizes, we perform engine surveys throughout the United States and worldwide. 

Having established a successful "referral only" repair business, On-Site Diesel Repair is a highly respected and recognized name in the marine industry. For more than 28 years, On-Site Diesel Repair has specialized in servicing, repairing, rebuilding and surveying of Caterpillar marine engines. Well versed in the old iron (CAT 3208, 343, 398, 399, etc.) as well as the newer engines (3406, 3412, 3500's, etc.) there was no job too small or too large.

After years of  rebuilding, repairing and servicing Caterpillar® engines, the repair portion of the business was phased out in 2003. Total emphasis is now on engine surveys. 

Gary Kepler, the principle surveyor and company owner, has more than 34 years of hands on experience with Caterpillar® marine engines. Gary Kepler holds Accredited Marine Surveyor (AMS) status with the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors® (SAMS). He is also a member of the American Boat & Yacht Council® (ABYC).
